Moldova State University is organizing the 7th edition of the Scientific and Practical Conference “Advanced Physical Technologies Using UAVs in the Monitoring and Modelling of Environmental Factors” on 13 November 2026. The event marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of Moldova State University and is dedicated to World Science Day for Peace and Development. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, with both in-person and online participation.

Academic staff, researchers, PhD students and specialists from Moldova and abroad are invited to participate. The conference covers engineering sciences and technologies, physical sciences, geonomic sciences, biology and ecology, history and archaeology, environmental physics, robotics and mechatronics.

Two thematic panels will be held during the conference.

The first panel, “Environmental and Climate Change Education”, is organized within the project “Sustainable Environment through Drone Education” (code 25.80012.0807.25TC).

The second panel, “Advanced UAV Technologies for Environmental Monitoring, Assessment and Modelling”, is organized within the PHYSTECH research subprogram “Advanced Physical Methods and UAV-Based Technologies for Complex Monitoring, Assessment and Modelling” (code 011210).

Each participant may be an author of no more than two papers. Presentations may be given in Romanian, English, French or Russian. To be included in the conference programme, presentation titles must be sent by 6 November 2026 to marianna.savva@usm.md.

Papers prepared in accordance with the requirements in Annex 1 must be submitted electronically to the same address by 20 November 2026. For papers produced within research projects, the project title and code must be stated at the end of the text. Only papers that meet the deadline and the established requirements will be published.

The Scientific Committee of the conference brings together researchers and academics from the Republic of Moldova, Italy, Germany, Romania, Malta and the United States of America. The Organizing Committee is responsible for the preparation and running of the conference.
